A Word About Technology Books
I am a firm believer that with a little determination and a good book, you can learn almost any technical topic. In almost every class, I will recommend books that I feel are great resources for students to have. If you are able to, I encourage you to purchase these books and continue learning even after the class is over. About 2 years ago, I stopped buying tech books at Amazon and now purchase exclusively from Bookpool.com, a little-known online retailer that specializes in discount technical books. I have found that Bookpool always beats Amazon's prices (sometimes by 40%) and that their overall service is just better. Since they are based out of Massachusetts, a few bucks usually gets you order to you in 1 day with regular UPS Ground service. I recommend you check it out for all of your tech book needs. (Note: this is just honest advice....I am not affiliated with Bookpool in any way, nor do i subscribe to an "affiliate" or "click-through" program.)
